We are not quite ready to remodel our kitchen (plan to next year), but we very much want a Flair. Have you been happy with yours and do you find the ovens large enough? Have you sold this one yet or is it still available? Thank you very much!

I just wanted to say that I had the fun of getting to use one of these stoves for 3 years in a rental I lived in over 25 years ago. At the time I had no idea what I had other than it was a very, very cool stove. It was wonderful to use and super easy to keep clean, would love to have another one someday…very unique!!!

I grew up with this stove in orange county CA. I had my first cooking lesson on it, circa ’65. In my electric madalian home. I remember pork chop splatter sparking against the red broiler elements. If only gas. Nostalgic.

I have remodeled my kitchen and have an Frigidaire Custom Imperial stove available. I live in Elgin IL, NW of Chicago. Ovens both work, 3 out of 4 burners work. I would just love it to find a home. $200 or Best Offer. The house was built in 1953 and the cupboards were built around it, so that is what I assumed was the age of the unit. It is clean, loved and used. I have pictures…

    • Jon says:

      Hi Gina,

Do you still have the oven that you were selling? Is it a Tappan or a Frigidaire Flair and more importantly is it the double oven (40″ wide) or the single oven (30″ wide) ?

Purchasing a home, built in 1962, which has the original fully functional Tappan and we are looking for a back-up.

      Thanks,
      Jon
