I spend many hours looking for resources for my classes and colleages and decided to archive my findings and ideas in an Edutechie category. I work for the Technology Department at a PS – 8 private school in the Boston area.
Preschool
Visit Africa with you Preschool Class with PBSKids.org.
Travel to the Great North in Canada with Wumpas World. This is a fantastic site that I use with my Preschool students who do an Inuit unit in the winter months. It has many wonderful age appropriate (Ages 3 – 5) activities for all levels.

Night Animal Project
- After hearing a story about many different nocturnal animals Kindergarten students used the computer program KidPix 3X to carefully spell their name and animals and completed their drawing by clicking and dragging using the pencil or paint brush tools. Their final step was to record their voices into the project.
Building Computers
Each year we have fun and learn a lot building computers with our 7th Grade girls.
