It must have been installed in the 50's some time(that's when the kitchen was remodeled). So it had a good run. When it finally died I couldn't even give it away for parts, so $13 from the scrap yard seemed pretty attractive. It was a cool stove and quite the conversation piece, although I must admit the new 2008 stove has much better control and cooks & bakes fantastically.
