The Watermelon Miracle

Every year I have tried to grow watermelon in my garden and last year I thrilled to have a watermelon get to be the size of a golf ball by September. As soon as I started to get excited about actually growing my own watermelon in the BOSTON area a squirrel promptly came and chewed it up. This year I actually have one that is almost ready to eat. I just may have to have a watermelon Party!

Curb Appeal

So, we have been trying to improve the appearance of our house without spending to much cash. The major change is that now we have green shutters, a purple door, a new storm door and window boxes thanks to my handy husband.
